Plant Manager/Production Plant Supervisor

Looking for a plant manager/production plant supervisor for a beverage production facility.

Areas of responsibility:

• Plant/production facility management


• Logistics, inventory, ordering of supplies


• Assisting the brewmaster with brewing & blending procedures


• Documentation and record-keeping


• Creation and/or maintenance of proper production facility workflows


• Operating mobile machinery such as forklifts and trucks


• Equipment and systems maintenance


• Employee supervision and evaluation, training, and scheduling tasks


• Health & safety, food safety protocol implementation such as HACCP and/or GFSI

The successful candidate will possess:

• Passion for local products


• Attention to detail


• Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP and/or GFSI


• Good communication and employee managerial skills


• Team leader with coaching, training and mentoring skills


• Organized and results-oriented


• Logistics experience


• Computer literate


• Mechanically-inclined


• The ability to work well with others as well as being a self-starter


• Good time management and workflow implementation skills


• Experience in a warehouse or plant, or a transferable skill-set


• Experience with troubleshooting machinery and technical equipment


• Familiarity with tools


• Forklift and heavy equipment experience


• Ability to maintain accurate paperwork


• Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed

Must have:

• CDN driver's license


• Equivalent education


• Equivalent experience


• In the area or feasibly able to relocate to Neepawa, MB.

Salary: 52,000-60,000/yr depending on experience
