The Role: Foreperson
As a Foreperson, you’ll lead key project areas, support field staff, and drive performance and quality. You’re an experienced plumber with a track record of leadership and a desire to keep growing.
Technical Requirements:
10+ years of experience in the mechanical industry (preferred but not required)
Red Seal Plumbing & Gas B Certification
Deep knowledge of construction practices, quality management, and OH&S
Working knowledge of the BC Plumbing Code
Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365
Daily Responsibilities:
Act as the bridge between Project Managers and field teams
Monitor field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure productivity, quality, and budget alignment
Partner with PMs to develop and execute mechanical schedules
Review budgets and estimates to avoid overruns and delays
Identify and report risks, challenges, or site issues to senior leadership
Proactively solve problems with practical, forward-thinking solutions
Conduct site inspections and provide updates to the project team
