Power BI Analyst

The Power BI Analyst role is crucial in leveraging data to optimize business processes and enable informed decision-making.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Write complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting, optimize query performance, design database schemas, and support ETL processes
• Employ Power Query in Excel and SQL for data import, cleaning, transformation, and integration from multiple sources
• Utilize advanced Excel features, such as formulas, pivot tables, Power Pivot, and DAX, to analyze and interpret business data
• Develop BI reports and dashboards using Power BI, with a focus on data visualization and interactive reporting
• Monitor and maintain automated systems, provide training and support to users, troubleshoot solutions, and document results
• Stay updated on the latest trends in business intelligence, analytics, and data management, and continuously improve technical skills

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proficiency in data management, including data cleaning, transformation, and validation using Excel and Power Query
• Dedication to data quality and data-driven decision-making
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role (internship experience considered)
• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power Query, with the ability to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data
• Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI and basic knowledge of programming languages (Python, R) for data analysis
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication of complex data insights
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup-like environment, demonstrating tenacity and resilience
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and contribute effectively to cross-functional and global teams
