Prairie North Co-op-Full Time Liquor Clerk-Melfort Liquor Store

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• To provide a professional approach to work concerning areas such as attitude, dependability, and appearance.

• Receiving, examining, and warehousing of liquor merchandise.

• To process customer purchases through cash register, including proper handling of pricing, coupons, and cheque authorization.

• Assistance in the planning and organization of merchandise displays for regular stock as well as for special sales and promotional events.

• Performance of general housekeeping duties in warehouse and in front end as required including stocking, facing, opening, and closing of the store.

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• To maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise.

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Serve It Right Saskatchewan Course is to be considered an asset

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 19 years of age 

• Must be bondable

• Physical ability to repetitively lift 40 lbs

• Beverage alcohol Product Knowledge courses/certification considered an asset

• Ability to work with co-workers and public

• Must be available to work evenings and weekend shifts
