We are Canada's gold and silver professionals. The Canada Gold family is one of the country’s largest jewellery, precious metal, and diamond buyers, and sellers of gold and silver bullion. At our retail locations in Mississauga and Toronto, we provide free appraisals and quotes for customers who bring in their valuables. Our goal is to provide our customers with the best prices, information, and expert advice when considering selling their valuables and/or investing in precious metals.

About the Position:
We are looking for full-time Precious Metals Consultants and Dealers / Photographer to join our growing team. This is an in-person role where you’ll meet with customers who are buying or selling gold and other precious metals as well as assisting with photography and crating product listings for our website.  Full in-store customer service training will be provided. 

Our ideal team member would embody positivity, enthusiasm, and an eagerness to learn. Coupled with an ability to adapt and grow with a highly motivated and dedicated team! Reliable transportation is required.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver exceptional customer service in person and over the phone


• Accurately assess customers’ precious metals in a timely manner using tools provided


• Maintain a clean and organized store environment


• Work on additional tasks and projects as assigned.


• Photograph jewellery (rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets) for product listings and marketing campaigns


• Set up and manage photography equipment, including lighting and staging


• Edit and retouch photos to ensure consistency and quality


• Create and maintain accurate product listings in Shopify


• Assist with content creation for social media and other digital platforms


• Maintain a clean and organized studio environment


• Contribute to additional creative or e-commerce projects as needed

• Strong photography skills; experience with product photography and lighting is preferred A passion for photography


• Proficiency with photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom)


• Attention to detail and ability to maintain visual consistency across listings


• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment


• Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn


• Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms (an asset, not required)

Additional Pay: Bonus pay

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift


• Day shift weekdays & weekends

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
