Required Qualifications & Technical Experience

  Cloud Architecture Experience: 8+ years in cloud architecture roles, including at least 3 years specifically on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in an architect or lead capacity.

  Hyperscaler Migration: Demonstrated experience designing and executing live production migrations from another hyperscaler (AWS or Azure) to GCP.

  
  


• 
  

  Core GCP Stack: Deep working knowledge of GCP services relevant to this initiative:

    Compute & Data: Cloud Run, Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), Cloud Storage, Memorystore, Vertex AI

  Data Migration & High Availability: Proven track record designing data migration, dual-write, and reconciliation strategies for live production systems with zero-downtime requirements.

  IaC & CI/CD Guidance: Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD orchestration (Harness preferred, or equivalent) sufficient to guide and direct infrastructure engineering teams.

  Communication & Leadership: Strong stakeholder management skills; confident presenting architectural trade-offs, risks, and strategies to technical and business executives at phase-gate reviews.
