Hiring one (1) position
A Probationary Firefighter performs skilled and physically demanding work of a hazardous nature under emergency conditions. Duties include firefighting, rescue operations, and first aid, as well as responding to a wide range of emergency situations involving risk to life and property. The role also involves participation in fire prevention, public education, and inspection activities, along with regular in-service training. Probationary Firefighters carry out routine maintenance of fire stations, vehicles, and equipment, and typically work under the supervision of senior officers; however, they may be required to exercise sound judgment and work independently.
