Position: Process Technician Certificated - A
Department: Maintenance
Substituted by Position:
Responsibilities: • Perform machine startups and shutdowns.
• Monitor and correct for fluctuations in the process, including proper documentation of changes made.
• Monitor overall machine performance, raw material supply and disposal of scrap (tanks and purges).
• Assisting with machine setups troubleshooting of faults and problems encountered with all production equipment.
• Repair BMM, Robotics, Down line and Assembly equipment and adjustments to satisfy production and quality requirements.
• Perform BMM,Down Line and Assembly equipment preventative maintenance.
• Support new equipment installation, equipment repair and adjustment.
• Elimination of re-occurring faults utilizing computer diagnostics,5Y,8D or A3 methodology.
• Available to switch shifts as necessary.
• Implement continuous imporvement and kaizen opportunities as needed and any other duties as assigned.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
• Mandatory qualification:
Completed two years Electromechanical Engineering Technician college -Code T974 or equivalent from an accredited Ontario College.
Robotics Able to troubleshoot and maintain robots and automated production systems along with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Graduates will also be equipped to assist in the application and design of robotic systems, their manufacture and testing.
Or Technical degree/certification of training towards course completion in either robotic programming or mechatronics from the province of Ontario.

•Good attendance record.
