Consisting of three key brands - FASTEN Packaging, Orchard Custom Beauty, and Roberts Beauty - IBG helps businesses create quality beauty products. From concept and design to getting products on shelves and online, we can support retailers, brands, and wholesalers with everything they need to get ready for retail.

We are currently looking for a Product Developer to join our team where you will work cross functionally with our Sales team and suppliers to create specific products in the beauty world.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Develop formula and cosmetic accessory items that meet the needs and requirements of IBG and our customers.

• Source and vet vendors compatible with production and regulatory requirements.

• Negotiate price, quality, delivery and payment terms with vendors.

• Request product information from vendors on final pack-out, fact sheets and Quality/Regulatory paperwork.

• Qualify vendors through specific approval process with Operations and QA to mitigate risk.

• Request samples and review for quality and performance and complete product specifications.

• Confirm production timelines from vendors and communicate to Project Manager to create timelines.

• Complete and present costing sheet per project for approval.

• Manage/Update development tracker and communicate latest project updates with team during weekly development meeting.

• Actively seek out the latest trends and innovations.

ABOUT YOU:

• 2 to 3 years in Product Development/Sourcing in the cosmetic/beauty field

• Project planning experience and have strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Previous experience working with international factories and vendors

• Working knowledge of Smartsheet, Wrike, and Netsuite is an asset
