Job Description - Product Support & CRM Administrator (Temporary 18 Month Term)

SMS Equipment is seeking a Product Support & CRM Administrator for a temporary, full-time parental leave coverage term of approximately 18 months.


The Product Support & CRM Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSR) group and administering the CRM system. This position collaborates with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations, accurate reporting, and compliance with company and manufacturer policies. 


Work Location: Acheson, AB
Salary: $65,000 - $68,000 annually. This temporary position is eligible for extended health benefits.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – providing the flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
Schedule: Monday to Friday.


What You'll Do



  • Administer the CRM system and ensure data integrity across SMS business systems.

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain the PSSR commission process, including monthly statement preparation.

  • Assist with calculations, payments, and administration related to sales promotions and marketing initiatives.

  • Generate and distribute sales and performance reports for key stakeholders and business partners.

  • Coordinate training sessions, conferences, and support marketing events as needed.

  • Liaise with CRM developers and proactively recommend system enhancements.


What You Bring


The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a customer service or sales environment. Additional qualifications include:



  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel) and CRM systems

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective verbal communication skills for internal and external interactions

  • Ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, business or a related area is preferred but not required


This position is classified as an Individual Contributor role in SMS Equipment’s competency framework, requiring demonstration of core competencies (customer focus, collaboration, and technical/functional expertise).
