About Us


Penta Equipment is an agricultural manufacturer specializing in the production of TMR mixers, spreaders and dump boxes. With over 25 years in business, we’ve proven to be a leader in the development and production of innovative and robust agricultural farm equipment. 


We have two production facilities in Ontario located in Glencoe and Thamesville. Our products are manufactured in our Glencoe facility and then transported to Thamesville for final assembly and shipping. 



The Opportunity


We are looking for a Production Painter to join our production assembly team in Thamesville, ON. The Painter will perform a variety of general painting, preparation, spray painting, finishing and re-finishing of large pieces of agricultural farm equipment and their associated components. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:



  • Operating, maintaining, and using air-driven paint spray equipment in a controlled paint booth environment

  • Cleaning and prepping surfaces for paint application (i.e. plugging, masking, sanding, scraping, etc.)

  • Ensuring proper coverage and finish quality

  • Maintaining the paint booth and associated equipment to ensure proper working conditions

  • Ensuring all paint-related waste is properly labelled, stored and disposed of

  • Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and deadlines


 


The Ideal Candidate



  • Has the mechanical knowledge to understand the operation of painting equipment and tools

  • Previous industrial painting/coating experience is required

  • Previous metal finishing experience (i.e. blasting, grinding, sanding) is an asset

  • Has excellent attention to detail and an ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands

  • Understands the safety standards in the performance of painting duties; is familiar with regulations and procedures for handling and storage of flammable materials

  • Is proficient with paint system and booth maintenance procedures
