Position Overview: The Production Supervisor will oversee staff and equipment in the beverage packaging process, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Task Management: Schedule and assign tasks to production workers.
Collaboration: Work with management to develop and implement production plans.
Quality & Safety: Ensure adherence to company quality and safety standards.
Budget Management: Achieve budgeted labor and operating costs, adjusting labor scheduling to meet volume demands.
Team Development: Retain, inspire, cross-train, and evaluate a high-performing team.
Manufacturing Execution: Lead and execute the manufacturing plan to meet sales demand, ensuring efficiency and customer supply continuity.
Production Optimization: Manage the packaging production plan, maximizing productivity while controlling working capital to meet financial objectives.
Process Improvement: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and promote best practices.
GMP Culture: Maintain a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) culture throughout the department.
KPI Monitoring: Build and monitor key performance indicators such as overall equipment efficiency (OEE), yield, labor leverage, and safety metrics.
Equipment Optimization: Optimize equipment capacity through efficient running and allocation by production platform.
Continuous Improvement: Drive quality, service, cost management, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives with internal and external partners.
Project Support: Ensure flawless execution of current and new packages, products, graphic changes, promotional activities, and manage run-out/changeover costs.
Technical Support: Provide technical and soft-skill support to the production team.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of frontline leadership experience in a production environment, with a strong background in operations.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of packaging and filling equipment.
Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities are essential.
PC Skills: Proficiency in PC applications (Excel, Word, etc.) is required.
