A culture where great ideas thrive because every voice is heard.\n\nTitle: Production System Specialist - 119434 \nPrimary Location: Canada (CA) - Off-Site - Edmonton \nOrganizational Group: A\u0026T Prod\u0026Prec/R3/R4 \nFunction: Marketing and Sales (CA) \nOnsite/Remote: Remote Position \nSalary Range: $85,903.20- $104,992.80 annually \nNew or Existing Position: Existing Position \n\nCandidates applying for this position must be eligible to work in Canada. \n\n## Your Responsibilities\n\nAs a Production System Specialist with the Agriculture and Turf Division in the Edmonton Area, You will develop education material from available resources, communications, and training materials on John Deere equipment / digital \u0026 agronomic solutions. You will lead initiatives on specific products and solutions leading to development, delivery and execution of marketing activities. Help develop product strategy, processes and programs to meet stakeholder needs. In addition, you will:\n\n * Lead the development and delivery of marketing, sales and agronomic solution training to company employees, channel partners and customers on specific products that support a farming system including agronomic, process and product information.\n * Establish the interface with sales branches, factory marketing, product planning and channel partners to provide accurate data and analysis to improve product market intelligence, product performance and promote sales activities on specific products. Provide feedback to other business units on customer and channel partner product improvement requests.\n * Work with the channel and end customer to promote, recommend and optimize product and data solutions to meet the current agronomic trends within the assigned territory.\n * Provide support or marketing assistance to products, parts, or services through phone, internet systems or field reports.\n * Travel regionally or to the US to conduct after sales follow-up visits with channel partners and/or customers.\n\n\n\n## What Skills You Need\n\n * Understanding of farming and agronomic trends associated with agriculture in Western Canada\n * Knowledge of products, customers and the Ag equipment business\n * Sales and marketing experience\n * Production agricultural industry experience\n * Strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills\n * Ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks\n * Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%\n * Willingness to relocate for future opportunities\n * Valid driver\u2019s license\n\n\n\n## What Makes You Stand Out\n\n * Production agriculture field experience with regular customer contact\n * Knowledge of dealer/distribution network\n * Strong agronomic background\n\n\n\n## Education\n\nA Bachelor\u0027s degree is required coupled with related work experience in the following:\n\n * Ag equipment industry\n * Ag input industry\n * Precision Ag industry\n\n\n\nIn accordance with the John Deere Accommodation Policy, reasonable accommodation of any of these qualifications may be considered.
