Who we need
Reporting to the Manager of Student Experience, we are seeking a Program Advisor to play a key role in fostering student success, focusing on continuous progression and timely program completion of Toronto Film School programs. Collaborating closely with the Manager, Student Experience, you will ensure that students receive comprehensive support throughout their academic journey.
As part of the Student Experience team, you will cultivate a strong presence on campus, nurture trusting relationships, and proactively connect students to various support mechanisms, including academic resources, financial services, IT support, tutoring, accommodations, mental health counselling, and career services. As Program Advisor, you will contribute to a positive campus environment that empowers all team members to grow and thrive in support of our mission to champion student success.
This is an existing full-time role, working 1 day remotely and 4 days on-site at our new headquarters at 120 Bloor Street East.

Compensation philosophy
At Yorkville University and Toronto Film School, we believe compensation should be fair, straightforward, and supportive of your growth. Our salary ranges reflect progression from learning in the role to excelling, with each offer based on skills, experience, and role complexity.
This position offers a minimum annual salary of 55,000, a midpoint of $58,000, and a maximum of $62,000. Established hires typically start near the midpoint, while the upper range is reserved for those with deep expertise and sustained contributions. Offers below the midpoint recognize strong potential with room to grow.
We strive for equitable, consistent pay, though rates may vary within the same role based on performance, specialized knowledge, and impact.
