JOB SUMMARY
Within the context of a patient/client and family-centred framework and continuum-based care model and in accordance with established standards of professional practice and the vision, values and policies of the organization, the Program Assistant supports the remote monitoring program by processing client referrals, registering clients, and maintaining accurate electronic and vendor records in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assists clients and families with routine information. Unpacks, organizes and maintains supply of remote monitoring equipment for the program central hub; maintains related records and labels devices for tracking purposes, coordinates shipment and returns via interhospital delivery, and compiles equipment usage data and statistics in accordance with established policies and procedures. Performs clerical and reception duties, including preparing a variety of documents, greeting and directing clients, and responding to general inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
Grade 12, plus two (2) years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to keyboard at 45 w.p.m.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Ability to organize work.
Ability to operate related equipment.
The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
