Location - This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Manager, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry (FoMD) Research Training Programs, you will provides Faculty-level coordination and analytical support for graduate program operations within the FoMD.

You will use institutional data and program information to support decision-making, program planning, and effective program delivery. It contributes to the development and maintenance of data tracking, reporting, and analysis processes related to student progression, enrollment, and overall program performance.

The position will also support the coordination of admissions and funding processes across FoMD graduate programs and provides guidance to ensure consistent application of Faculty requirements. It also contributes to financial coordination, system updates, and the development of resources and tools that support program operations and the graduate student experience.



Responsibilities
  • Monitor graduate student progression, enrolment, milestones, leaves, withdrawals, and completion using institutional data systems.
  • Develop and maintain datasets, reports, dashboards, and analyses related to student outcomes, awards, funding, and program performance.
  • Coordinate Faculty graduate awards and support consistent admissions and award administration across programs.
  • Provide guidance to departments and program coordinators on student funding, payments, policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Support Faculty-wide graduate program initiatives, operational planning, stakeholder communication, and coordination with the College of Health Sciences.
  • Maintain graduate program resources, databases, forms, calendar information, supervisor records, and guidance materials for students, faculty, and staff.


Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • Experience working in a post-secondary environment, preferably supporting graduate programs or academic administration
  • Familiarity with university policies, procedures, and systems (e.g., Campus Solutions or similar student information systems)
  • Experience with data tracking, reporting, and basic analysis using spreadsheets or reporting tools
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures accurately
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to FOIPP and records management requirements
