THE JOB: Program Coordinator, Provincial Coaching & Accreditation
The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.
Starting Salary Range: $57,160 - $71,450
Reporting to the Manager, Physician Leadership & Learning, theProgram Coordinator, Provincial Coaching & Accreditation,â¯plays a central role in the coordination and delivery of physician leadership development programs at Doctors of BC. This position serves as the primary operational contact for the Provincial Coaching Program, managing the program’s platforms and systems, including basic technical support, the role ensures a positive member experience from recruitment through onboarding, and contributes to the planning of skill development sessions in collaboration with the Provincial Physician Lead. The Coordinator works closely with physicians and other DoBC teams to facilitate engagement, and coordinate networking and educational opportunities across the province. In addition, the role performs key operational components of the Physician Leadership Scholarship Program, including application assessment and end-to-end coordination of the review and appeals process, ensuring a high level of service and communication with physician participants.
A core component of this role is ensuring that all accredited learning activities developed by Doctors of BC meet national Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation standards. The Coordinator oversees accreditation processes across the organization, maintains compliance documentation, and provides guidance to internal teams to ensure that learning activities meetaccreditation requirements. This includes maintaining the internal accreditation hub, implementing quality control procedures, and coordinating external audits. With strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, the Coordinator monitors program data, identifies trends in leadership development, and ensures accurate reporting and reconciliation. Acting as a key connector across programs, this role supports continuous improvement and advances physician leadership and learning initiatives across the organization.
