Job Description

The House of Commons’ Human Resources Services is currently looking to staff the Program Management Advisor position.

This recruitment and selection process is restricted to the Human Resources Services (HRS) employees of the House of Commons Administration.

In this role, you will support the coordination, design, development, and implementation of Workplace Health and Wellness programs and support services for the House of Commons Administration. You will advise and deliver tools, training and support for Conflict Resolution and Harassment and Violence Prevention to promote a respectful and inclusive, workplace culture. You will also develop new or enhance processes to gather the necessary data to analyze and report on program milestones. As the Program Management Advisor, you will work closely with the other Human Resources Services team members to ensure that programs are consistent and meet organizational needs.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A post-secondary school degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field OR an acceptable combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in human resources client service role (e.g., generalist, recruitment advisor or training advisor or organizational development advisor);
  • Leading and supporting teams by providing advice and guidance on human resources policies processes and practices;
  • Developing programs, business plans and project plans in order to implement talent management and skills development programs.

Assets:

  • HR designation (such as CPHR, HRPA), in-progress or completed;
  • Certified in Third-Party Neutral (TPN) approach or in progress.
