Job Description - Project Administrator (Dekhe Frank Channel Bridge)

Job Title: Project Administrator (Part-Time)
Location: On-site at Dekh’e Frank Channel Bridge Replacement Project
Hours: 20–30 hours per week


 


Position Overview


We are seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Project Administrator to provide administrative and logistical support for our operations at the Dekh’e Frank Channel Bridge Replacement Project. Working under the mentorship, guidance, and direction of Kiewit professionals, this role involves clerical duties, transportation assistance, and documentation tasks.


The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office, and comfortable working in an active construction environment while gaining hands-on experience supporting a major infrastructure project.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Transportation Support: Shuttle personnel to and from Yellowknife Airport as required.

  • Schedule Management: Collect work schedules from supervisors and maintain accurate records.

  • Data Entry: Enter and update information in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint documents.

  • Site Documentation: Take site photographs and maintain proper documentation.

  • Expense Reporting: Assist with preparation and submission of expense reports.

  • General Administrative Support: Provide clerical and administrative assistance including filing, organizing documents, and other office tasks as needed.

  • Project Support: Carry out assigned tasks while working under the mentorship, guidance, and direction of Kiewit professionals to support project operations.


 


Required Qualifications



  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required for airport shuttle duties).

  • Experience with clerical work and administrative tasks.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to safely walk around an active construction site.

  • Must provide own CSA-approved construction boots.

  • Must have own means of transportation to and from the job site.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Must pass a Fit Test and an Alcohol & Drug Test prior to hiring.

  • Ability to work independently while following direction and maintaining confidentiality.


 


Work Schedule



  • Part-time position: 20–30 hours per week.

  • Flexible scheduling based on operational needs.


 


Compensation



  • Salary to be discussed based on experience and qualifications.
