Project Engineer

We are supporting a world leading Engineering company looking for a Senior Project Engineer, for a opportunity based in Norway.

You will be integral to establishing offsite facilities for a green ammonia project. Reporting to the Area Manager, this role involves coordinating construction camps, logistics facilities, utilities, and interfacing with Engineering Procurement and Construction Contractors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive technical solutions for early and enabling works, optimizing project value, and ensuring schedule adherence.
• Managing the interfaces between Engineering Procurement and EPC Contractors
• Develop detailed Request for Tender (RFT) packages for early works and coordinate technical evaluations.
• Assist in obtaining necessary permits and agreements for executing early works.
• Ensure works align with company Vision and Values and are executed safely.
• Develop and execute Scopes of Work, manage project budget, and schedule, and engage with stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years' Project Engineering experience in Norway, civil construction and logistics exposure preferred.
• Experience with owner/operators and engineering contractors.
• Technical and project engineering expertise in multidisciplinary projects.

Desired experience:

• Local regulators and grid operators
