Reporting to the Construction Director, the Project Human Resources Superintendent will work closely with the personnel and human resources team.
This contract
position involves the management of day -to -day human resources activities,
including the development and implementation of HR policies aligned with the
company's strategic objectives. The incumbent is responsible for compliance
with Labor Legislation and the harmonization of workplace relations, while
fostering a productive and collaborative on -site environment.
Main Responsibilities
· Manage and coordinate all Human Resources activities
on the site.
· Participate in the development, deployment and
continuous improvement of HR policies, processes and procedures.
· Advise the Director/Construction Manager on skills
development, training and succession planning strategies.
· Ensure effective management of discipline and social
relations in order to maintain a peaceful work climate.
· Ensure that the company's vision, values and standards
are implemented, particularly in terms of quality, safety and security of the
work environment.
· Prepare and monitor the staffing and payroll budget.
· Lead the recruitment process in line with the
company's values, with a particular focus on local recruitment.
· Manage employee’s month payroll and benefits, liaise
with external HR payroll Agency to calculate payroll where required
· Liaise with project ESG team to deal with Local
employment matter
· Oversee the onboarding and onboarding process for new
employees.
· Ensure the administrative follow -up of staff
(contracts, leave, job descriptions, payroll, training, entry and exit dates,
etc.).
· Participate in the facilitation of the performance
evaluation process and supervise the implementation of the associated action
plans.
· Implement talent retention and succession planning
strategies for critical positions.
· Maintain quality relations with social organizations
and institutions (Labor Inspectorate, Social Security, training organizations,
etc.).
· Produce periodic HR reports (activity reports, monthly
and annual headcount reports).
· Contribute to the development of the company's annual
sustainability report.
· Ensure permanent monitoring of compliance with labor
law and regulatory obligations.
· Work closely with management teams at other sites and
departments in the company.
· Closely work with employees Rep to enforce good social
climate, treat employee’s grievances timely and fairly

Profil
Education
· Bac +4/5 in Human Resources Management or a related
field, or any other equivalent diploma.
Expérience
· Minimum five (05) years of professional experience IN
Senior HR roles as Coordinator, Senior Supervisor or Superintendent
· Mining or
Construction experience is a plus not a condition
· Proven experience in recruitment, performance
evaluation, compensation and benefits, Employees industrial relation, training
and development initiative
Requirements and Competencies
· Strong experience in Human Resources, covering
recruitment, training, talent development and HR processes and payroll
· Expertise in HR management and ability to
strategically supervise an HR team.
· Excellent knowledge of employment law and employment
regulations.
· Proven skills in social relations and management of HR
policies and procedures.
· Strong strategic analysis skills, strong leadership
and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
· Strong sense of organization, rigor and ability to
work independently.
· Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package.
· Experience in the mining or natural resources sector
is a major asset.
· Ability to operate in a remote mine site environment.
Language Skills
· Fluency in French and English (bilingualism required).
