Job Description - Project Portfolio & Enablement Specialist



  • Help young Australians to improve their long-term educational outcomes

  • Permanent full-time position

  • Hybrid working and flexible office location (Sydney or Melbourne preferred)

About the role


 


We are seeking a Project Portfolio and Enablement Specialist to strengthen portfolio governance, enable effective delivery, and support priority initiatives across People and Culture. Reporting to the Delivery Enablement & Optimisation Manager and working alongside dedicated, energised and passionate team members, you will:


 



  • Coordinate portfolio governance, reporting, risk and dependency tracking for People and Culture initiatives

  • Prepare clear, consolidated reporting and governance materials for leadership

  • Support discovery, requirements gathering and assessments in partnership with project teams and subject matter experts

  • Enable adoption of new ways of working through practical tools, templates and change support

  • Lead select internal People and Culture projects and dependencies aligned to organisational and enterprise priorities


 


 


About you


 


As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:


 



  • Tertiary qualification in business administration or a related field

  • Experience in portfolio governance, project coordination or delivery support roles

  • Ability to prepare high quality governance, reporting and briefing materials for senior forums

  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Working knowledge of Agile project delivery and change practices (desirable)

  • Experience supporting enterprise or cross functional initiatives (desirable)
