WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:



  • Analyze processes and implement systems within the department and collaboratively across the organization that improve overall business performance.
  • Own and drive departmental KPI’s, deadlines, processes and efficiencies that foster a culture of accountability.
  • Internally, review bid requests in conjunction with the Inside Sales Manager and Executive Vice President.
  • Orchestrate and assign incoming quotation requests.
  • Oversee maintenance of customer information and project database in CRM as well as ongoing Pricing Index.
  • Creating new supplier relationships as needed, and liaise with all suppliers in regard to pricing as final point for budgetary negotiations.



WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:


  • Team oversight and leadership; ability to collaborate inter-departmentally
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to take initiative, balance multiple tasks and work strategically; with a focus on meeting deliverablesl
  • Experience with furniture bidding and manufacturing is an asset – especially with offshore vendors, specifically in Asia
  • Proficient knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft and Google Suites
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in a related leadership role or equivalent
