Career Opportunity

The TTC has a new opportunity for a Purchasing Card (PCard) Administrator within the Procurement and Category Management Department to oversee and administer the daily operations of the Corporate Credit Card Program.
 

What You Will Do

Manage the purchasing card application process, including reviewing applications, setting up new accounts, verifying employee agreement forms, and coordinating card distribution.


 


Lead all training activities related to the purchasing card program, including conducting new cardholder training sessions.


 


Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of platform activities, including issuing notifications for outstanding balances and processing account changes and closures in accordance with established financial and operational guidelines.


 


Serve as the subject matter expert for all systems and processes related to the corporate purchasing credit card program.


 


Provide professional and responsive customer service to internal card users and external vendors, including the credit card issuing bank.


 


Uphold and reinforce internal controls to ensure compliance with all relevant accounting policies, financial guidelines, and procedures.


 


Utilize ERP system capabilities and prepare ad‑hoc reports and statistical analyses as required.


 


Develop procurement documents (e.g., RFPs, RFQs, Terms of Reference) for the acquisition or renewal of PCard Program services.


 


Participate in the TTC Customer Service Ambassador Program.

What Qualifications Do You Bring?


  • Demonstrated skill in reviewing purchase orders, invoices, related documentation, and reports.

  • Knowledge of accounts payable (A/P) functions and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), mid‑sized servers, and document management software; experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is preferred.

  • Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and analytical abilities.

  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to gather, organize, and analyze large volumes of data to develop insights and recommendations.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels and external vendors.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Solid understanding of office methods, practices, and procedures.

  • Adaptability to changing business needs and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Completion of a post‑secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Experience and knowledge in Purchasing Card (PCard) program administration, including processes, policies, and best practices.

  • Experience with SAP reporting is preferred.

  • Experience with software or systems implementation is considered an asset.
