Pursuit Collection 76 Connaught Dr, Jasper, ABFull-timeJob detailsJob typeFull-timeShift and scheduleWeekends as needed Full job descriptionWhat will be your daily pursuit?:The Food & Beverage Operations Manager will serve as a key member of the shared services team assuming front line operational responsibilities.Overview:Work in a dynamic, culturally diverse team from around the globeSeasonal work experience in an iconic, unforgettable, and inspiring locationFast-paced and active position – get your step counter ready!The chance to work in an inclusive culture and make life-long friendsOpportunities for career growth or future work at other Pursuit locationsAccess to one of the world’s most beautiful and iconic National ParksResponsibilities:Receive and prioritize requests for new products and packagesDelivery of guest experiences that align with the vision of the BJC Food and BeverageAssist in the development and implementation of menu designParticipate in the selection of purveyorsMaintain core standards as developed by the Senior Director Food and BeverageContribute to the organizational strategic direction and overallWork with LOB’s and Director of Bars and Beverage to implement progressive and profitable wine and beverage listsAssist in the development and follow-up on revenue enhancing promotionsEnsure smooth flow and accuracy in all monthly inventory procedures and controlsCommunicate effectively with F&B outlets and other departmentsMaintain high standard of service, food quality and cleanliness of all food and beverage outletsRegular, structured verbal and written communications with the Food & Beverage leadershipOn floor support and coverage for floor management and microsAssist in preparing activity and status reports for Senior Director of Food and Beverage and business stakeholdersResponsible to compile, research, and sourcing of F&B related productsMicros: assist in building databases, revenue centers for Banff and JasperWorking in conjunction with IT to ensure Micros is installed successfully in existing and new operationsDaily Micros support to all BJC: rebuild, edit and address problemsAssist in the recruitment of middle management positions (Assistant Manager – FB Manager)Assist in hourly recruitment when necessaryQualifications:Strong communication skills, both written and verbalMinimum of 10 years senior level experience operating a 3+ million diverse fast paced food and beverage operationPost-secondary education in hospitality or a related fieldProven experience building relationships and working with teams across all levelsThrives in a fast paced and high energy work environmentAble to create “followership” through modelling our core values and best practicesCapable of inspiring and motivate teams to maximize performance within the organizationExperience in budgeting, P/L management and financial controls requiredExcellent wine and food knowledgePro Serve certificate (Licensee)Sommelier qualification an assetFlexible schedule as weekends and evening shifts are requiredOutstanding team player, able to motivate and support employeesExcellent communication, interpersonal and guest service skillsA self-starter with strong organizational skillsTo honour our commitment to be “Always Honest” all employees must consent to a criminal record checkWork Environment:Beautiful.
