QBiT - Director of Sponsorship

The Queen’s Biomedical Innovation Team (QBiT) is an interdisciplinary design team that designs, prototypes, and tests new, innovative biomedical devices to address healthcare concerns both globally and in our local community.

For the 2025-26 school year, QBiT will be working on 3 projects related to global health:

Position Description:

The Director of Sponsorship will report to the Chief Financial Officer. The role of the Director of Sponsorship is to obtain and maintain sponsorship connections for the team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and growing relationships with industry professionals

• Applying for grants (Dean’s Donation, Faculty grant, etc.)

• Producing the QBiT Sponsorship Package

• Regularly attending finance team meetings and providing updates

Ideal qualities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with email correspondence

• Strong organizational skills

• Detail-oriented

• Aptitude for professional relations

Interview info:

Interviews will take place during the weekends of May 23rd to 25th and May 30th to June 1st.
