If you were the Raw Materials General Assistant now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing (including, but not limited to):
- You stock the products in their respective areas
- You organize and replenish the levels of raw materials to ensure picking accuracy and prevent shortages
- You pick products accurately from picking bin by following the order list
- You ensure proper daily storage and maintenance of equipment
- You ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the stock security, cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- You will be cross trained with a senior member of the Raw Materials team to learn additional operations within the department
- You facilitate effective and productive communications within the team to maximize productivity and efficiency
- You follow Company regulations and procedures in order to uphold the Company’s quality and safety standards
- You perform other duties as assigned
Are you our next Raw Materials General Assistant?
- You have at least 2 years of warehouse experience in manufacturing environment
- You have high attention and keen eyes to details
- You have strong English verbal and written communication skills
- You have experience operating hand-held scanner in warehouse setting
- You have basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel and ERP systems
- You have the ability to work well independently and efficiently without direct supervision and to work effectively as a team
- You can work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- You have excellent organizational skills and flexibility
- You are willing to share your knowledge and train other team members
- You have strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with difficult situation with tact and professionalism
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You can balance autonomy and collaboration
- You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment
- You have CSA approved steel toe footwear
Assets:
- You have knowledge of FIFO inventory systems
- You have a valid forklift and power pallet jack license
