4 Paws Vet is a busy and conveniently located Vet Practice in Sydney’s lower North Shore. We have been serving the Neutral Bay community for over 25 years in our purpose-built hospital. We continue to evolve and now an opportunity exists for a part time Receptionist to join our enthusiastic and friendly team. The ideal candidate will have industry experience and/or be willing to learn quickly. This is a great opportunity for a Veterinary Nursing student looking to get a foot in the door as we are always looking to upskill our team and create succession plans.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

• Undertaking all types of reception & administrative tasks
• Excellent customer service with the willingness to go above and beyond.
• A basic understanding of animal care with the ability to triage patients over the phone.
• Able to assist clients with over-the-counter products & food
• Experience with Ezyvet is advantageous. 

The reception team is small and there are times when you will be on reception on your own. Therefore, the ability to multitask, ask for help & remain calm is required. We aim to practice Veterinary medicine to a high standard where our patients are always at the centre of what we do. We are lucky to have a loyal client base with a great love for their pets. We are looking for a positive team player, who exudes enthusiasm but has a calm and professional manner. Confidence and highly developed communication skills are essential.

This position shares a roster with the nursing staff, with 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am -2pm) required. Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
