Office Location: Barrie, ON (This role does not provide remote or hybrid work). 

Responsibilities of a Recovery Collections Agent: 

• Responsible for collecting recovery dollars on post charge off debts through settlements and short-term payment arrangements 

• Assessing files for legal action, agency assignments, and repossessions 

• Reviewing credit bureaus and customer financial circumstances to determine the right course of action to recover on outstanding debts 

• Collaborating with the repossession and remarketing team to help determine if repossession of missing vehicles worth pursuing 

• Reviewing charge off files to identify what actions have been conducted previously in order to
  determine the next course of action 

• Conducting skip trace activities to locate missing debtors and motor vehicles to maximize recoveries 
   

Requirements of a Recovery Collections Agent: 

• Confident judgment 

• Organized with excellent time management skills 

• Flexible and adaptable to constant change 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

• Ability to cope with high pressure and tight deadlines 
   

Qualifications of a Recovery Collections Agent:

• High school diploma or equivalent education  

• 1-2 years' experience in recovery and remarketing or relatable field  

• Intermediate skill set in Microsoft 365 & Adobe 

Compensation:

• Base Salary starting at $40,000 annually
