The Municipality of Chatham-Kent has two openings for permanent part-time Recreation Leaders in the Parks, Recreation & Facilities division. This position works 8 hours per week.
Job description
The Recreation Leader facilitates various programming such as: camp, active games, skill building, creative and therapeutic activities for CKRecreation. Recreation Leaders will be required to actively supervise all program activities and may be required to modify activities to ensure age appropriateness. Recreation Leaders will also be required to assist in managing participant behaviours, communicating with parents as required and following policies and procedures in place relevant to the position.

Because this position would be required to travel, a valid Province of Ontario driver's license with a reliable motor vehicle is preferred.
Background check requirements
Because of the environment this position will be working in, the successful candidate will be required to furnish an original Police Information Search (criminal reference check) (working with vulnerable persons) prior to commencement of employment.

Benefits
This permanent part-time position has an hourly wage of $18.03 will receive vacation and statutory benefits in accordance with Employment Standards Act.
