Refrigeration Technician

Status: Full-time

Salary: $35.77 per hour

As a member of a skilled team and under the supervision of the Director of Technical Services, the refrigeration technician must intervene in case of breakdowns on the following facilities: kitchen, rooms, refrigerators, and air conditioning. These duties include preventive maintenance in 611 hotel rooms, 25 meeting rooms, and all public spaces including service areas. You would be trained to respond to emergencies as a member of our fire brigade.

With maintenance operations running 24 hours a day, this position requires flexibility and cooperation within the department and all areas of the hotel. Serving our customers, colleagues, and the needs of our owners, this position carries significant responsibility for the overall success of the hotel.

• Ensure proper operation of ventilation and refrigeration systems
• Maintain and repair air conditioning units in rooms
• Inspect and repair building ventilation systems
• Replace filters, belts, and motors on ventilation systems
• Make maintenance recommendations when necessary
• Perform any other related tasks required by duties or requested by immediate supervisor
• Participate in preventive maintenance program

Skills:

• Hold a refrigeration mechanic qualification certificate
• Possess a minimum of three years of experience
• Good understanding of reading plans
• Good knowledge of general mechanics
