In this position, you’ll be based in the Toronto (Downtown) office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our Controllership team in Toronto, reporting into and working closely with the US Controller team.
This role is ideal for an ambitious accounting professional looking to move beyond traditional financial reporting and gain exposure to regulatory reporting, capital and liquidity management, legal entity oversight, and business transformation initiatives.

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring financial information is accurate, well-supported, and delivered within established timelines while contributing to the continuous enhancement of our control environment. You will develop an end-to-end understanding of assigned legal entities, their products, accounting processes, data flows, and regulatory obligations.
This role combines traditional accounting responsibilities with analytical problem-solving, technical accounting research, data analysis, regulatory reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
