Regional Outside Sales Manager

Our client is searching for a Regional Outside Sales Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for turnkey sales solutions from quoting the products through to the installation. A successful candidate will have strong decision making, problem solving and creative thinking skills.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

Communicate with new and exiting customers to secure continuing sales and maintain a strong customer relationship

Attain individual and group sales objectives

Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients in Alberta

Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and the project the number of contacts to be made

Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity

Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned

Prepare presentations, proposals and sales quotes and contracts

Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge

Establish and maintain current client relationships and increase business within Alberta

Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up

Identify and resolve client concerns

Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals

Communicate new products and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff

Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock

Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows

Follow up for collection of payment

Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services

Your strengths include:

5+ years of experience in an outside sales role

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required

A comfort level with working with and committed to aggressive sales goals

Excellent communication and time management skills

Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Ability to travel outside the office approximately 50% of the time
