Registered Clinical Counsellor - Contract

REGISTERED CLINICAL COUNSELLOR – CONTRACT

Position Summary: We are looking for a registered BC clinical counsellor who is a healer by heart and would like to work in an environment that encourages meaningful and deeply transformational work, supported by a healthy daily structure, including nutrition, supplementation, exercise, meditation, bodywork and nature therapy.

This is a contract opportunity; you must have your own clinical practice and liability insurance.

Responsibilities: one-on-one counselling sessions (majority of sessions). A few group workshops (1-3 times per program) and small group classes.

Workload: We have eight 3-week programs per year, alternating with three weeks off. Counselling services are required 3 days per week plus one more day overflow, during our retreat sessions https://www.healthretreat.ca/health-retreat-dates/. The number of appointments may vary based on the group size and needs. Hours of appointments: 11:30 am -7 p.m. or if this works for you better 1:30-9:00 p.m. Suggested therapy days: Mon or Tue, Thu, Sat, but open to a discussion.

We are a non-rehab-based natural health restoration and lifestyle transformation retreat specializing in physical health, emotional wellness and quit-smoking programs. Our guests stay with us for up to 3 weeks and are highly motivated to work on their emotional well-being.
