Permanent - 4 to 5 days per week

Daytime Hours, Monday to Friday

General Description of Position

The Minto-Mapleton Family Health Team (MMFHT) is seeking a Registered Dietitian and team player who is passionate about rural primary care. The Registered Dietitian will work to full scope of practice at our Drayton site. The MMFHT offers several programs and services to its patients that involve the Dietitian such as:  cardiac, pre-diabetes and diabetes programs, group and one-to one medical nutrition counseling, and a variety of health, wellness and community programs. While the Registered Dietitian is expected to function independently, collaboration and open communication with other Team members, and our physicians/nurse practitioners is essential. This is an exciting position with considerable variety in a supportive, flexible work environment. 

Skills and Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Dietitian in the College of Dietitians of Ontario


• Experience working as a Registered Dietitian working in a primary care setting


• Comfortable with technology and using an EMR


• Keen ability to prioritize and manage time effectively


• Strong communication and team-based skills 

Compensation

• $38.02 per hour (full-time, 1950 hours)


• Paid vacation


• 11 paid stat days and 2 paid wellness days (full-time)

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to our Drayton office


• Up-to-date vaccinations (or willing to get up-to-date)
