We are looking for a Registered  Nurse (permanent split day/eve of 4 on two off/   and  a full time days - 4 on two off- 630am -2:30pm and full time night shift- 1030pm-0630am-   join our Casa Mia Care team in Vancouver, B.C  We are looking also for casual RNS  for our nights. Beyond the perks that come with working for the area’s leading community healthcare provider we offer: Highest industry wage based on experience Benefits, vacation, paid sick days, RRSP Employee Recognition and Staff Appreciation Events Meaningful Connections As a Registered  Nurse your role will involve the following: Resident admissions, discharges and transfers Resident assessments and care planning Administration of medications, treatments and wound care Proficient with electronic documentation (PointClickCare) and MDS Assessments Liaises with physicians, families, and other members of the care team Delegates tasks to unregulated care providers Charge Nurse responsibilities Participates in care conferences and medication reviews. Wage:  based on years of experience  Shifts: we have 2 lines available: permanent night line 4 on 2 off, permanent 2 days 2 evenings (4 on 2 off) Qualifications: Registered and in good standing with BCCNM Current CPR/First Aid Certificate Competent in electronic documentation and eMar Fluent in English both verbal and written Critical thinking and decision-making skills Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred Proof of vaccination About us: Casa Mia Care is a heritage home offers 90 long term care beds, consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms. Many with expansive views over the Fraser River. Casa Mia is a storied 1930’s mansion boasting views of gorgeous grounds, the Fraser River, Georgia Straight, and the mountains of Vancouver Island.
