Responsibilities

• - Working knowledge Financial markets, and products with ability to analyze Regulatory implications of all on and off-balance sheet activities
  - Working knowledge of various asset classes and Derivatives
  - Detailed knowledge the reports and report layouts pertaining to specific schedules within any of these regulatory reports in required
  - Relevant work experience in interpreting Fed instructions for specific regulatory reports and converting them to technical requirements for building the regulatory reports
  - Good understanding of the Capital regulations for Canadian and USA Banks
  - Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  - Provides consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve business results.
  - Extensive experience in the analysis, definition and documentation of business and data requirements.

SKILLS

Must have

• 8-10 years of experience in a Capital Market relevant role
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness
  
• Strong interpersonal skills to explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike
  
• Strong understanding of linear and non-linear interest rate and credit derivatives, Fixed Income, FX and Cash products
  
• Experience using an analytical pricing libraries. Executing queries, building use-case scenarios for business requests and small enhancements
  
• Intermediate to advanced level SQL skills for data analysis

Nice to have

• Experience with applications such as Murex (preference) Calypso, Bloomberg and other Fixed Income market data and trade processing systems is a plus
• Has experience working with modern data storage, management and ETL tools
• Has experience building cloud-native applications, using cloud-based managed services, especially in the data space
