Job Description - Reliability Specialist - Vibration

RELIABILITY ENGINEER – VIBRATION SPECIALIST

As a Vibration Specialist, you will play a strategic role for our customers, helping to extend the useful life of assets, improve performance and increase the availability of their equipment. More specifically, you will be called upon to carry out high-level technological projects or tasks in the fields of machine vibration and mechanical reliability.


 


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE



  • Deploy the use of vibration analysis technologies and follow up on the resulting corrective actions.

  • Select measurement and vibration monitoring products and support sales to our customers.

  • Execute measurement and vibration analysis mandates on our customers' equipment. Write reports with recommendations.

  • Perform advanced vibration studies: taking measurements, using online or wireless multi-channel measurement systems, phase analysis and ODS, impact tests, etc.

  • Perform advanced technical assistance for products and software for our customers


 


ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL



  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and/or a DEC in an equivalent discipline.

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance

  • Expertise in the use of one or more predictive maintenance technologies is an asset.

  • Recognized for your technical rigor

  • Recognized for your ability to listen to customer needs

  • Able to travel 50% of your time during the week to customer sites


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in French




  • Written and verbal communication skills in English considered an asset




 


WORK LOCATION: Kirkland, Qc. This position requires frequent travel. Hybrid, possibility of occasional telework
