Job Description - Administrative Assistant - Surety (12 months contract)

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Surety team in our Montreal office!


As an Administrative assistant, you will support the team form de Surety division by making sure all the needed documents are issued and that all the datas are entered in a way to serve the client by giving a good image of the company.

Your Day as an Administrative Assistant



  • Coordinate the issue of Surety document such as Licenses and Permits.

  • Open files and enter data’s to the system.

  • Proceed the billing.

  • Issue letters.

  • Do follow-up with clients.

  • Proceed the opening and filling of new folder and existing ones.

  • Send correspondence as request.

  • Assist direct clients during the centralization exercise of all guarantees, including scheduling and reorganization of bond issues for all branches.

  • Proceed any other require task or special project, if needed.


Our Ideal Candidate



  • High school diploma or relevant training.

  • Relevant experience in Surety.

  • Details and quality oriented.

  • Knowledge of the software Applied EPIC (an asset).

  • Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word).

  • Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and in English as the candidate will be required to interact in English with stakeholders (colleagues and clients) outside Quebec.

  • Strong abilities to communication effectively in spoken and written.

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Effective time management skills and prioritizing skills.
