Job Description - Business Development Representative
Summary
As a Business Development Representative at PACE, you’ll help drive new business by booking qualified meetings for our Advisors. This is a high-activity, outbound role for people who are motivated, goal‑driven, and eager to build a long-term sales career.
You’ll build your pipeline through strategic outreach, consistent follow-up, and strong execution, with training, coaching, and leadership support behind you.
What You’ll Do
Drive new business by making outbound calls to qualified prospects using leads provided by PACE
Operate in a outbound environment, with daily call expectations and performance targets.
Generate interest, uncover decision-making criteria, and book qualified meetings for our Advisors
Learn to identify key details about a prospect’s benefits landscape; group size, renewal dates, current carriers and use that info to strengthen the sales funnel
Build relationships with decision-makers through strategic outreach and professional follow-ups
Consistently achieve weekly activity and meeting benchmarks with the support of coaching and sales leadership
Keep your pipeline and activity clean and organized using our CRM system
What We’re Looking For
1–2 years of sales experience with proven results
Experience with outbound calling, prospecting or appointment setting
Comfortable with daily outbound calls and working toward performance metrics
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
A self-starter who’s organized, goal-driven, and coachable
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
