Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the sales team, supporting them in processing client applications.
Manage cases between carriers and agents to ensure all underwriting requirements are fulfilled. This involves meticulously reviewing client applications to confirm that they are complete for the underwriting process.
Provide case consultancy services to the agents.
Liaise with carrier contacts regarding pending cases.
Flag product suitability and review variable rate illustrations.
Propose improvements to processes and technology.
Perform additional duties related to the New Business Department as assigned by the immediate manager.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of Case Management, experience in the life insurance industry.
Previous experience working at an MGA will be given preference.
Basic understanding of life insurance products is a strong asset
Basic understanding of the underwriting process.
Proficiency in French is a asset.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities -- Capable of managing tight deadlines and multiple priorities effectively.
Effective problem-solving and investigative skills.
Reliable, trustworthy, proactive, with a keen sense of ownership and initiative.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Approachable and professional in delivering suboptimal information via in-person, phone, and email interactions.
Strong computer skills with a capacity to learn new systems.
Ability to handle stressful situations with a positive, proactive attitude.
Positive demeanor with an openness to constructive feedback.
Must reside and be authorized to work in Canada.

Salary Range - $56,160 to $60,000/yr CAD
The compensation range reflects a data-driven estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment. Individual pay may vary based on geographic location, job related skills, knowledge, experience, education etc.
