Accountabilities
- Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims.
- Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority.
- Calculate and assign appropriate reserves to claims.
- Manage the litigation process for claims resolution.
- Communicate claim activity effectively with clients and claimants.
- Ensure claim files are properly documented.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Five (5) years of claims management experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of California jurisdiction and relevant licensing.
- Ability to manage high exposure claims involving litigation.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
