What You’ll Be Doing: As the Information Technology Inside Sales, you will play a key role in supporting both Sales and Procurement by understanding client needs and applying your strong product knowledge to deliver tailored solutions. This also includes responsibilities for proactively selling technological products and solutions, working via phone and email, and supporting the full sales cycle for both new and existing customers. This professional collaborates with outside sales teams, manages sales pipelines, and ensures customer satisfaction while meeting quota targets.


 


What You’ll Be Working On:



  • Central point of contact for all quotes and purchase orders.

  • Design and provide quotes to customers within the structure of the quoting process.

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests.

  • Communicate directly with customers around quotes, orders, and delivery times.

  • Source and process purchase orders, updating systems with expected delivery dates.

  • Obtain recommendations from suppliers for substitute items for back orders.

  • Coordinate and schedule product deliveries based on requests.

  • Handle and resolve customer complaints.

  • Manage the RMA process to ensure critical timelines are met.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.

  • Gather information on client requirements to propose best-fit solutions.

  • Provide pricing and delivery information through the sales quoting tool.

  • Research and understand technology solutions and product options.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure recommendations align with customer needs.

  • Complete sales and receiving processes to ensure orders are ready to be invoiced.


 


What We’re Looking For:



  • Post-secondary education would be considered an asset.

  • 2+ years of experience in IT sales and procurement.

  • 2+ years of experience in MSP (manage service provider) or VAR (value added reseller).

  • Strong understanding of quoting and purchasing processes.

  • Excellent communication skills with both customers and vendors.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Comfortable using sales quoting tools and procurement systems.

  • Eager to learn and continuously improve processes and customer experience.
