  • Support development of best practices around data architecture, governance, and system interoperability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between engineering design, client requirements, and deployment objectives.

  • Assist in user training, documentation, and ongoing system support after deployment.

  • Contribute to multi-site rollout initiatives and continuous improvement of digital transformation frameworks.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, MES, or digital manufacturing environments.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, shop-floor processes, and industrial control systems.

  • Hands-on experience with Inductive Automation Ignition (SCADA, MES, MQTT, and industrial data architectures).

  • Experience integrating OT and IT systems including PLCs, SCADA, historians, MES, ERP, cloud, and analytics platforms.

  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, APIs, or industrial data pipeline development.

  • Familiarity with MES concepts such as OEE, traceability, production tracking, quality management, and downtime analysis.

  • Ability to translate operational requirements into technical system configurations and workflows.

  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience working in system integrators, engineering firms, or industrial technology environments is highly valued.

  • Exposure to cloud, AI, or advanced manufacturing initiatives is considered an asset.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multidisciplinary project teams in dynamic environments.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation ($100,000 – $175,000 CAD range)

  • Remote work flexibility within Canada
