This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Front-End Developer II, Protect - ShareGate based in Canada.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate front-end developer to build intuitive, high-performance user experiences within a modern product development environment. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of scalable web applications using React and TypeScript while collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering. The role combines technical excellence with product thinking, allowing you to influence architecture, improve user experiences, and help shape long-term engineering practices. Accountabilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality, responsive, and accessible front-end features using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow engineers to transform user needs into intuitive and impactful product experiences.
- Build, maintain, and enhance reusable UI components and design systems to improve development efficiency and consistency.
- Contribute to front-end architecture decisions, engineering best practices, and continuous improvements that support long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance to ensure clean, reliable, and performant applications.
- Support full product delivery by working with existing back-end code when necessary, extending functionality to meet business requirements.
- Design interfaces capable of handling large volumes of data while maintaining excellent performance, responsiveness, and usability.
- Actively contribute to technical discussions, product planning, and continuous improvement initiatives across the development team.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Experience developing production-ready front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Full-stack development experience with the ability to work across front-end and back-end components.
- Strong proficiency with C# and .NET development.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases and experience working with PostgreSQL.
- Experience building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance web applications.
- Good understanding of modern front-end architecture, reusable component design, accessibility, and responsive development.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a product-focused mindset and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, remote teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that embraces innovation, continuous learning, and AI-powered development tools.
