Referral Clerk (Full-Time, Remote | Calgary-based)

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by helping others? Satori Health is looking for a Referral Clerk to join our collaborative healthcare team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring patients receive timely access to diagnostic tests, specialists, and essential healthcare services. This is a full-time remote position with the flexibility of working from home, while being based in Calgary, AB.

What You’ll Do

As a Referral Clerk, you’ll be the link that ensures patients receive the right care, at the right time. You will:

• Make patient care referrals to third party stakeholders


• Coordinate and process medical referrals with accuracy and efficiency


• Schedule and follow up on appointments with specialists and diagnostic providers


• Support physicians, MOAs, and clinics in preparing medical documentation


• Answer patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism


• Safeguard confidential health information in compliance with Alberta Health Information Act


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless care

What You Bring

• Medical office assistant/administrator or unit clerk certificate/diploma


• 2+ years of experience with medical terminology, data entry & record keeping


• Experience working within the Calgary healthcare system is an asset


• Accuro and Connect Care experience is a bonus
  


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite


• Strong written and verbal communication


• Highly organized with excellent problem-solving abilities


• Collaborative, team-first mindset


• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and knowledge of privacy regulations
