Senior Demo Developer

The Senior Demo Developer will create, enhance, and support high-impact demonstration solutions that communicate the value of enterprise finance technology. This role requires strong technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to translate complex customer needs into clear and engaging experiences.

• Design, develop, and continuously improve standard and industry-specific demonstration applications that support sales effectiveness and customer engagement.


• Create innovative use cases and visually compelling demos that highlight platform capabilities, new features, and business value.


• Act as an early adopter of new product innovations and maintain strong knowledge of future platform developments and solutions.


• Collaborate closely with presales, sales, product, commercialization, and technical teams to align demonstrations with market needs.


• Translate complex business requirements and customer challenges into practical, impactful demo content.


• Provide technical and functional support for demonstration applications, ensuring internal users can effectively leverage available resources.


• Serve as a technical mentor and resource for less experienced developers, sales consultants, and customer-facing teams.


• Participate in solution design, validation, and presentation activities to support successful customer engagements.


• Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail across all developed content.


• Communicate technical concepts clearly through presentations, discussions, and customer-facing interactions.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines software development experience, financial business knowledge, and strong communication skills to create compelling technical solutions for diverse audiences.

• 3+ years of experience working with corporate performance management (CPM) applications and Microsoft SQL databases, including application development, configuration, and deployment.


• Technical experience with CPM platforms or similar enterprise business solutions.


• Strong ability to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into technical, finance-focused solutions.


• Experience in customer-facing roles such as consulting, technical solutions, solution architecture, or presales.


• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities, with confidence leading technical discussions.


• Knowledge of business analysis, financial modelling, and finance/accounting processes.


• Strong MS SQL and database administration experience.


• Application configuration expertise and strong software development skills.


• Experience with programming languages such as VB.Net, C#, Python, or similar technologies.


• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively in a team environment.


• Comfortable interacting with senior executives and technical stakeholders.


• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel when required.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.


• Advanced degree considered an asset.


• Previous experience as a services consultant, database administrator, or technical presales professional.
