Job Description - Senior Manager, Growth & Partnerships

About Kambo Energy Group

Working in partnership with utilities, governments, Indigenous Nations, and other industry partners we reduce energy poverty, accelerate decarbonization, and improve housing in traditionally underserved communities across Canada and the United States. Kambo delivers three in-house programs: Empower Me, Community Power, and the Home Upgrades Program.

Empower Me delivers multilingual education, support, and coaching services to ensure underrepresented communities have access to energy, climate, and home retrofit programs.

Community Power supports Indigenous Nations to build, renovate, and improve community housing.

Home Upgrades Program provides fully subsidized energy retrofits to improve affordability for households living in energy poverty.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Growth Operations, the Senior Manager, Growth & Partnerships owns and grows some of Kambo’s most important client and funder relationships. This role sits at the centre of our work, connecting communities, partners, and internal teams to ensure a thoughtful, consistent, and high-quality client experience.

You will set and execute account strategy, lead and develop a growing team, retain and expand key accounts, pursue new opportunities (including competitive bids), manage renewals, and handle day-to-day client interactions with clarity, professionalism, and genuine care. You are a people leader, relationship-builder, and strategic thinker who anticipates needs early for both clients and team members and acts before small issues become real problems.

About You

You build trust through reliability, sound judgment, and follow-through. You balance warmth with structure and take ownership of outcomes end to end. Clients feel supported because you communicate clearly, pay attention to details, and consistently close the loop.

You are comfortable managing multiple accounts at once and thrive in complex, cross-functional environments. You are proactive, organized, and thoughtful, seeing around corners, flagging risks early, and surfacing opportunities with confidence. Internally, you bring clarity and accountability. Externally, you represent Kambo with empathy, professionalism, and respect for the communities and partners we serve.

Above all, you care about people and outcomes. You value learning, feedback, and progress without compromising quality
