Job Description - ServiceNow administrator

NOVIPRO, a firm specialized in technology consulting and IT talent acquisition, has been mandated to support a major organization in the search for a ServiceNow Administrator. This strategic mandate is part of a global support model for the ServiceNow platform, within an internationally distributed IT structure.

Details



  • Contract type: 12-month contract




  • Schedule: 40 hours per week




  • Work mode: Hybrid – on-site presence required 2 to 3 days per week in downtown Montreal



Responsibilities



  • Design and implement technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform based on functional requirements from internal IT teams




  • Develop and maintain Service Catalog components (catalog items, record producers, approval flows)




  • Create test plans, operational guides (runbooks), and perform deployments in accordance with Agile/SCRUM practices




  • Manage data integration, custom view creation, reporting, and continuous platform improvements




  • Diagnose and resolve incidents related to CMDB (Configuration Management Database), Access Management, IT Operations Management (IOM), and IT Service Management (ITSM) modules




  • Collaborate with remote teams, notably in Europe, to ensure alignment of deliverables and compliance with internal IT policies




  • Manage deliverables independently while escalating technical or functional issues as needed based on their criticality



Skills



  • CSA certification (ServiceNow Certified System Administrator)




  • Several years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration within structured and complex IT environments




  • Demonstrated expertise with ITSM, IOM, CMDB, and Service Catalog modules




  • Strong experience in Agile environments, particularly with SCRUM methodologies




  • Ability to navigate ecosystems with incomplete documentation, investigate proactively, and prioritize tasks based on operational needs




  • Excellent cross-team communication skills, particularly in multicultural and cross-continental contexts
