Job Description - Sr. Product Marketing Manager


This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager in Canada.


This is a senior strategic product marketing role focused on shaping how complex environmental monitoring solutions are positioned, understood, and adopted in global markets.
You will define and lead messaging frameworks that translate highly technical capabilities into clear, compelling buyer value across diverse customer segments.
The role has strong visibility, directly influencing sales effectiveness, competitive differentiation, and product adoption at scale.
You will act as the central owner of competitive intelligence, ensuring insights are continuously gathered, synthesized, and operationalized.
Working closely with product, sales, and marketing leadership, you will drive alignment across go-to-market execution and product storytelling.
This position is ideal for a highly analytical and AI-fluent product marketer who thrives in fast-moving, data-driven B2B environments.


Accountabilities


In this role, you will own the positioning, messaging, and competitive narrative for a global portfolio of environmental monitoring solutions, ensuring alignment between product capabilities and real-world buyer needs. You will also lead sales enablement and product launch efforts while embedding competitive insights into all stages of go-to-market execution.



  • Develop and maintain positioning and messaging frameworks across the product portfolio

  • Translate technical product capabilities into clear, buyer-focused value propositions

  • Own competitive intelligence as an ongoing discipline, tracking market and competitor movements

  • Synthesize competitive insights into actionable sales enablement materials and briefs

  • Build and maintain sales tools including battle cards, solution briefs, and pitch narratives

  • Partner with sales leadership to identify gaps and improve field effectiveness

  • Lead end-to-end product launch planning and execution across cross-functional teams

  • Ensure sales and support teams are fully trained and enabled ahead of new releases

  • Contribute to thought leadership content including white papers, bylines, and messaging campaigns

  • Support broader marketing initiatives with positioning, copy, and narrative development


Requirements


This role requires a seasoned product marketing professional with strong experience in B2B technology environments and the ability to translate complex products into compelling market narratives. You are analytical, highly communicative, and comfortable operating across sales, product, and marketing functions. You bring strong experience in competitive analysis and sales enablement, and you actively leverage AI tools to accelerate research and content development.



  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience is an asset

  • 8+ years of total experience, including 4+ years in B2B product marketing

  • Experience in SaaS, data, geospatial, weather, or adjacent technical industries preferred

  • Strong ability to build positioning frameworks and messaging architectures

  • Proven experience in competitive intelligence and win/loss analysis

  • Track record of producing high-impact sales enablement materials used by field teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple formats and audiences

  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data to guide marketing decisions

  • Practical experience using AI tools for research, content creation, and workflow optimization

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across distributed product, sales, and marketing teams

  • Strong understanding of go-to-market execution and product launch processes
